Object of the Game

The game pieces are Bolas (two balls are tied together with string). The target is a Ladder with three rungs with different point totals. When tossed correctly, the Bolas will wrap or hang on the rungs of the Ladder.

No of Players

Can be played with up to 8 people (2 players on each team).

Game Pieces and Total Space Needed (6 Feet Wide to 24 Feet Long)

1. 12 Bolas (4 sets of 3 different colors)

2. 2 Ladders – 42” tall x 29” wide x 26” long

Game Set-up

 1.    Place each Ladder facing each other between 15 and 20 feet apart depending on the age of the participants.

2.  Divide up the same color balls to each person.

Game Play

Each player throws 3 Bolas (of the same color) at a ladder to try to score. Then a partner can throw them back to an opposite ladder.

Goal

The Goal of Ladder Golf is to be the 1st Team to score 21 points exactly. If you go over 21, your score will stay remain where you were before your turn.

Fun Fact

The Bola will sometimes spin off the Ladder!
